Access Services and Music Librarian

Jim is the library liaison for the School of Music and the Brind School of Theater Arts. Jim provides reference services to patrons in Greenfield Library, and manages collection development of music and musical theater materials. He is available for tours Greenfield Library as well as in-class presentations on library use, which can be tailored to specific class needs or an overview of library resources and research methods. Jim oversees the circulation desk and is happy to help anyone in the UArts community access their UArts Libraries.

Kathy supervises the functions and activities of the University Libraries' Technical Services Department, which is responsible for adding all Greenfield Library materials to the online catalog and making changes to the online catalog as necessary to keep the records up-to-date. The Technical Services Department, on the lower level of the Greenfield Library, is also where you will find the back issues of our magazines. Kathy is the library liaison for the English as a Second Lanugage (ESL) program.
Visual Resources and Special Collections Librarian

Laura develops and manages the Visual Resources and Special Collections including rare books, and digital images. She also provides orientation and reference assistance to faculty and to students who use the collections for classroom presentations. Laura is the library liaison for Art History.
Sara J. MacDonald

Sara is directly responsible for collection development and maintenance; developing and managing reference and instructional services; and circulation activities. Sara also provides reference assistance in the Greenfield Library. Reference service includes tours of the Greenfield Library as well as in-class presentations on library use; presentations can be tailored to a specific assignment or a general introduction to research methods. Sara and former UArts colleague Eugene Bolt wrote The University of the Arts, published by Arcadia Publishing in 2006. Sara is the library liaison for the School of Design, School of Dance, First Year Writing, the Honors Program, and the graduate programs in Industrial Design and Museum Studies.

Josh is responsible for library technical operations including the development and administration of library digital initiatives, library technical services, the University's learning management system, the integrated library system, and other electronic systems, resources, and services. Please feel free to contact Josh with any problems accessing library resources, comments on our website, or offers of baked goods. Josh is the library liaison for the School of Film and Science & Math (including SIFT) in the School of Critical and Professional Studies.
