Research Assistance //

Reference service and research assistance is available from your UArts Libraries librarians and staff. We are happy to help all patrons make the most of their research time. This includes:

  • Searching OneSearch, the main library search engine.
  • Searching individual electronic resources to find reference sources; e-books; e-journals and articles; high-quality images and fair-use images; and streaming videos including feature films, performances, documentaries, and more.
  • Searching the internet for high-quality resources.
  • Evaluating all resources you discover.
  • Finding a reference source to get you started or to inspire your artistic endeavours.
  • Using other libraries and institutions to help you unlock all the resources at your fingertips, including the Free Library of Philadelphia.
While you can always visit the Greenfield Library for assistance, we highly recommend making an appointment with a librarian to discuss your research. In addition to in-library service, we will happily provide reference consultations over the phone, Zoom, Google Meet, or email. To get the conversation started, please contact libraries@uarts.edu, or directly contact: We look forward to working with you!
