If you require assistance of any kind in using the Greenfield Library, please look for Mary Louise. She provides reference service to patrons in the library and is also available for individual appointments and interlibrary loan service and coordinates access to the Book Arts room and to the Special Collections room. Mary Louise is the library liaison for Illustration, Creative Writing, First Year Writing, and Book Arts/Printmaking.

Kathy supervises the functions and activities of the University Libraries' Technical Services Department, which is responsible for adding all Greenfield Library materials to the online catalog and making changes to the online catalog as necessary to keep the records up-to-date. The Technical Services Department, on the lower level of the Greenfield Library, is also where you will find the back issues of our magazines.

Mark supervises all the activities and services of the Music Library, including collection development for all music and music-related materials. Mark is also the reference librarian for the Music Library and gives orientations to the library as well as in-class library instruction at the request of faculty. He is the library liaison for the School of Music; School of Theater; all graduate programs in Music; and Period Interpretations, Philosophy and Religion, and Social Sciences in the Division of Liberal Arts. Laura develops and manages the Visual Resources Collections including slides, digital images and laminated pictures for the Picture File. She also provides orientation and reference assistance to faculty and to students who use the collections for classroom presentations. Students who are on class lists provided by faculty must make an appointment with Laura to use the collection. Laura is the library liaison for Art History.

Sara supervises circulation operations and provides reference assistance in the Greenfield Library. Reference service includes tours of the Greenfield Library as well as in-class presentations on library use; presentations are often tailored to a specific assignment or can be a general introduction to research methods. Sara is also in charge of the University Archives that are housed in the Greenfield Library. Using those archival materials, Sara and former UArts colleague Eugene Bolt wrote The University of the Arts, published by Arcadia Publishing in 2006. Sara is the library liaison for the School of Design; School of Dance; First Year Writing; and the graduate programs in Industrial Design and Museum Studies.
