BORROWING FOR ALUMNI //

Alumni who meet the following criteria may borrow materials:

  • Must have a UArts alumni ID card
  • Must have returned all materials and paid all fines
  • Must place a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card on file.
  • The credit card on file is not used for fines, but only as a form of security should the library need to bill for unreturned materials. Overdue fines must be paid in-person with cash, credit card, or check (made out to University of the Arts).

Alumni memberships are for borrowing and access only. Alumni do not have off-campus access to the UArts Libraries subscription databases (i.e., anything that requires a log-in), and may not use interlibrary loan service or carry overdue fines.

Alumni may check out up to 5 items at one time.

Should library materials be more than one month overdue, the UArts Libraries will use the credit card slip placed on file to bill you. Unreturned materials are billed at the minimum replacement fee of $115.00 ($100.00 minimum for the item plus a $15.00 processing fee). Patrons who have been billed in this manner will be denied future borrowing privileges.
